Marian’s work is an ongoing exploration of space, through the movement of lines and the play of light and shadow.
For Collect 2024, she is presenting STILL LIFE: A Reflection on Beauty, Preciousness, and Time.
The sculptures are meticulously handcrafted combining, conventionally called, precious metals (Sterling silver) with upcycled discarded plastic.
Both materials now dance together and form part of our Planet’s fabric.
(The name of each sculpture: “Last Chance 1, 2 & 3”, reminds us of the little time we have to keep our Planet alive, and the struggle of many due to the inaction of powerful few)
